Birmingham Review

Another display of tiredness from two teams that, this time, had had an equally punishing schedule over the last week.

Unfortunately, Birmingham had that last ounce of energy more than The Latics and showed it by slogging out a 2-0 win.

This stupid schedule of 4 games in 8 days does nobody any good. It spoils the spectacle for the fans, it could cause serious injury problems for the players and it can’t help attendances. This ludicrous situation can’t be allowed to happen again.
