Latics miserable start to the season continues, a slightly better display than the previous two games away at Charlton, but we came unstuck with a late goal that took a wicked deflection to give the Addicks the points.
A bitterly disappointed Uwe Rösler and in contrast overjoyed Bobby Peeters, spoke to the media after the game, lets take a look at what they had to say:
Latic boss Uwe Rösler – ‘We’d two deflected goals against us, so at the moment things aren’t going our way’
‘To lose in extra time; last week we gained a point, this week we lost one.’
‘Overall I thought we started the game very well, the first goal from them came against the run of play, we were completely in control first 30 minutes.
‘We got the equaliser quick, that was good
‘Second half, the longer the game went we dropped again and that’s a little bit of the problem, we can’t sustain 90 minutes in the way we want to play.’
‘When we get pushed back we are inviting the opposition to create chances and we are not threatening enough the opposition goal.’

Charlton boss Bobby Peeters – ‘I’m very happy to get the three points because when you see the chances we created especially in the last 20 minutes then we needed to score earlier.
‘If you can win the game then the 94th minute with a deflected shot makes you very happy because we put a lot of effort into this game.
‘I’m very happy for Franck Moussa because he came on and gave us the goal and the three points.’
