A clash of the old boys. Ex-Latics Ellington and Horsfield could start for Albion while former Baggie Jason Roberts is almost certain to start for Wigan. West Brom haven’t won away all season and the Latics will be looking to do their first double of the season.

Vital Quotes:

Wigan Athletic Team News:

Too many injuries to list.

We were down to 15 fit outfield players before the Arsenal game. Skoko was the only fit player not to even get on the bench. From the squad that faced Arsenal Connolly will be out for a few weeks with a hamstring strain but McCulloch could be back after a groin strain and Baines may be fit again.

I would expect Roberts and Johansson to start up front with Teale, Bullard, Kavanagh and Scharner in midfield and Chimbonda, De Zeeuw, Henchoz and Baines across the back and Pollitt in goal.

Player to watch: Paul Scharner

Did very well in the hour against Arsenal

West Bromwich Albion Team News:

Ehiogu failed to complete his move from Middlesbrough in time. Clement and Kanu are injured, while their Kamara joins our Camara with Senegal.

Player to watch: The Duke

Not been showing his Latics form with the Baggies but may be dangerous returning to his old stomping ground.
