Vote For Your Latics Man Of The Match v Sunderland

The Latics travelled to Sunderland on Saturday, but returned empty handed, they were undone by some curious refereeing decisions, missed chances and unmarked goal poachers, still they put in a fair performance, especially considering they played for nearly all the second half with ten men following Jordi Gomez’s red card

The standouts for me were James McCarthy and Ivan Ramis. McCarthy starred in midfield, a good game from the Republic of Ireland international, he ran his socks off and had two efforts that nearly got us goals, one went narrowly wide the other produced a good save.

Ramis, I thought, was excellent and my pick as man of the match, he was solid at the back, cleared an effort off the line and looked good all afternoon

So Ramis for me, to choose your man of the match simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it’s that easy
