Wigan Athletic beat local rivals and relegation doomed Burnley with a 93rd minute Hugo Rodallega goal, before anyone says lucky so and so`s the Latics did have a stonewall penalty not awarded, hit the post and had 21 goal attempts.

Hugo`s goal was set up by substitute Victor Moses who came on and played a blinding 15 minute cameo role culminating with a delightful cross right at the death of the match which our Colombian hitman powerfully headed into the back of the net.

Marcelo Moreno played a part in the game today working tirelessly all afternoon and Momo Diame carried on his good form of late with another fine performance, but the outstanding player for me was young James McCarthy who had very good game and he got the own goal that he scored last Tuesday firmly out of his system.

So McCarthy was my man of the match but who was yours, to vote simply go to the poll on the right side of this page, select your option then hit the submit button, its that easy.
