A very exciting game at the DW Stadium yesterday as the Latics disposed of Crystal Palace on their way to the FA Cup 5th round.

There were some great performances, Ali Al Habsi pulled off three or four cracking saves, Leon Barnett was as strong as ever in defence, whilst Ben Watson had a great game in the middle of the park.

Out wide both Callum McManaman and James McClean were on top form, whilst Roger Espinoza was once again full of energy and drive, but for me McClean in particular looked very good and was my man of the match

The Republic of Ireland international had the better of his marker Adrian Mariappa all game, he played the ball back for Ben Watson’s opening goal and he crowned what was a great individual performance with the games winning goal, firing home from just outside the box.

So McClean for me but who was your Latics man of the match? To participate in the vote simply access the poll on the right side of this page, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it’s that easy.
