Wigan Athletic youngster Victor Moses is facing time on the side lines after dislocating his shoulder in the Carling Cup defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

Challenged robustly from behind by Arsenal players Eboue and Walcott, Moses fell heavily and landed with his arm stretched out causing his shoulder to dislocate.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed the injury, Martinez said: ‘He has dislocated his shoulder and is in hospital now’

‘We will have to assess how he is feeling and we need to look at the extent of the whole injury.’
