It`s now been confirmed that Victor Moses did suffer a dislocated shoulder in last nights Carling Cup defeat at the Emirates Stadium and he will be sidelined for at least two months.

With James McCarthy not due to be back until February it means that both of the Latics young guns will be badly missed over the important Christmas and New Year period.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez says he is disappointed that Moses will be out at a crucial time but says the team will adapt, Martinez said: ‘We know how much we’re going to miss Victor for the next few weeks. Injuries and suspensions are a reality of the game, and we have to adapt to it as well as we can.’
