Wigan travel to high-flyers Scunthorpe after picking up back-to-back home wins. Winning at the DW is becoming a nice habit, hopefully we can take that excellent form on the road starting tomorrow.

Overall, our performances have been good away from home (barring Shrewsbury). We should have beaten Peterborough in our last away game, but poor finishing and not being able to manage the game when leading cost us.

Sam Morsy will be a huge miss tomorrow, but it’s a good opportunity for Max Power to stake his claim for a run in the team.

Let’s hope for another 3 points. Up the tics.

Scunthorpe United Team News:

Graham Alexander made seven changes ahead of last weeks 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury, he has the same squad available to face Wigan.

Player to watch: Lee Novak

Works hard for the team, creates and scores goal. Tough day for our defence.

Wigan Athletic Team News:

Latics are without Morsy who is away on international duty with Egypt, allowing David Perkins or Max Power a chance to impress manager Paul Cook. Michael Jacobs is also expected to miss out through injury.

Player to watch: Will Grigg

Scored two last week, hopefully gives him the confidence to go on a goal scoring run
