Lee McCulloch`s worst fears have been averted following a scan on his foot that he injured in the 3-3 draw against Spurs yesterday.
McCulloch was in so much pain that it was feared he may have suffered a broken foot. The Latics midfielder was relieved when a scan showed no breaks only heavy bruising. However there will be work to be done by the medical team if Super Lee is to make a comeback this season with only four games remaining.
