Chimbonda Commits To Wigan

Pascal Chimbonda has said that he will now be staying at Wigan Athletic for the new season, despite bids from Tottenham Hotspur and Middlesbrough.

Chimbonda told Sky Sports: ‘For the moment, I will not be going to either Tottenham or Middlesbrough, I will certainly stay with Wigan.

‘As the coach and club have always trusted me, there are no problems between us. My next challenge will be to repeat last season’s performances.’
