In our recent poll we asked you who formed the best strike partnership down the years at the Latics and the result was a walk over for Jason Roberts and Nathan ‘Duke` Ellington
They came in with 65% of the vote
The second place went to Lancashire and Jones – the two Graeme`s – with 11% of the votes cast
It`s hardly surprising that Roberts and Ellington came out on top
They had a massive impact on the rise of the club and their goals gave the Latics their Premiership status
