Wigan French Connection Sakho

Montpellier and Senegal midfielder Lamine Sakho is being linked with a January move to Wigan Athletic.

The 30 year old is currently playing in the French second division and would love the opportunity to return to England

Sakho had a short spell on loan at Leeds United in the 2003-04 season when he made 17 appearances and scored one goal for the Yorkshire club

Sakho as also played for French clubs Nimmes, St.Etienne, Marseille and Lens, he is known as a goal scoring midfield playmaker

If Sakho did sign he would give Latics a strong French Connection with Melchiot and Olembe already signed from French clubs and of course Sibierski is as French as they come
