This weeks transfer gossip/news has seen the Latics linked with a few players and a couple of old targets have been mentioned, though none have made it through the entrance doors, yet.

Robert Snodgrass Latics were linked to Leeds United’s highly sort after wide player at the beginning of the week but no follow up for the £4 million rated former Livingstone player.

Max Gradel is another Leeds player that the Latics are being linked with, Gradel was supposedly a target back in January and the speedy Ivory Coast international is again highly rated and would cost around £3.5 million.

Charles N’Zogbia following a bit of histrionics during the week regarding a strike, the story emanated from the North East (I wonder who was behind that, no bonuses for correctly guessing), it would appear that Charlie will move to Aston Villa in the next couple of days. He hasn’t travelled with the rest of the squad to Austria and it is understood that Villa have met the asking price.

Hugo Rodallega every day a new club gets added to our Colombia internationals list of suitors, Wednesday it was Stoke City, today its Liverpool, who, according to the Mirror, are set to make a move with a £9 million bid, we shall see.

Hernan Bernardello is an old target that is once again being mentioned in the press. The Argentine midfielder is available from Almeria for £3.5 million and we are reportedly interested in bringing him to Wigan.

Nelson Valdez according to reports is set to turn down a move to the Latics, the Paraguay international has stated that he wants to stay in Spain.
