Wigan Athletic are expecting their biggest gate of the season for the important relegation match on Saturday with West Ham.

The Hammers have sold out their allocation of 5,100 and fans are being provided with free travel to the North West.

With home sales going very well at the JJB, officials hope to beat this season`s previous biggest gate of 22,089 set in December for the Liverpool game.

Jewell said ‘this is going to be one of those occasions when the fans can play a major role`

Jewell also called for ‘tough minds and bodies` from his players in a game that will have a major impact on the fate of both clubs.
