Wigan Athletic beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 at the DW Stadium and after the game both bosses, Roberto Martinez and Roberto Di Matteo, spoke to the press, lets see what they had to say:

Latics boss Roberto Martinez:

‘Victor (Moses) is growing in training, and sometimes we don’t realise how young he is.

“He came on against Liverpool and really played his part, and today he had a massive impact on the game. We took control of the game in the second half and we had to be patient.

“I felt we were the team that wanted to win from the first minute and in the end the players got the reward they deserved”

“I was very pleased with the concentration levels because it was a game where we had a lot to lose and not much to gain.

“So in the end to keep a clean sheet it was a professional performance and it fills me with great pride.”

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo:

‘We had a few chances in the first half especially and it’s a shame we didn’t score that goal.

“It looked like it was going to be a draw and then they scored a goal from one of our set-pieces.

“We were caught out a little but still had enough payers back to defend it. That’s how it is in the Premier League, little things cost points.’
