Following yesterdays enthralling 2-2 draw in the FA cup 4th round at Meadow Lane between Notts County and Wigan Athletic, both bosses spoke to the press, lets see what they had to say:

Latics boss Roberto Martinez

‘We were slow, sloppy and encouraged pressure from Notts County, and we had no direction in our play.

‘We gave them a well-deserved two-goal lead, and for us it was a real test of character, a real challenge.

‘I’m delighted with the reaction, delighted we found the answers, earlier in the season we would have folded.’

Notts County boss Dave Kevan

‘I’m just pleased they were able to stay focused and put in that type of performance, and credit to them for that.

‘I thought the lads were fantastic, but when we look at it again in the cold light of day, we’ll have mixed feelings.

‘They know they’ve had a great opportunity to cause an upset, and sadly that hasn’t quite developed.’
