Value for money at the JJB?

Image for Value for money at the JJB?

Much is made of the cheap season tickets at the JJB but in terms of results and performance , does this equate to value for money.

Latics have scored the lowest number of goals at home this season with 16 goals from 18 games some 27 less than Man United.

In terms of actual wins, the total of 7 puts them above 7 other clubs including surprisingly Aston Villa.

This is down to our excellent defence with despite conceeding four at home to Villa and Arsenal we have only conceeded 18 at home.

On balence I would say the majority of fans would rather win one nil than draw three apeice, so where as the lack of goals is disappointing, the percentage of home wins tempers that disappointment.

I would also argue seeing Premier League football week in week out with the worlds finest visiting gives value at the price for our hard earned dosh

but not if you lose, it doesn’t matter whether you are playing rushden and diamonds or Man U, a loss is a loss when you wake up the next morning

  • worbo says:

A loss is a loss but Rushden and Diamonds wouldnt leave me in awe of whoever, unlike Arsenal and Arshavin, Chelsea and Deco, Man U and Rooney etc, etc, etc

  • baskerville says:

i didn’t feel in awe of united on wednesday, Ronaldo and Rooney were made to look ordinary and Vidic was given a torrid time by Rodders
