Stubbs swaps clubs

Wigan Athletic centre-back Sam Stubbs has joined National League side AFC Fylde on a one-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old academy graduate returned from a loan spell at League Two club Crewe Alexandra this month, after making eight appearances in all competitions for the Railwaymen.

However, Stubbs wasn’t back at the DW Stadium for long. He could make his debut for the Coasters when they travel to Bromley tomorrow.
