Wigan Athletic defender Steve Gohouri was voted man of the match in Mondays 2-2 draw with Hull City at the DW Stadium.

The big Ivory Coast international had a good game deputising for the injured Titus Bramble in the heart of the Latics defence and he also stepped up with an injury time equaliser in the 93rd minute of the game when he spectacularly smashed home an overhead kick to sadly condemn Hull to relegation.

Gohouri is keen to win a contract at the Latics and he has done more than enough in the past four games to suggest that he would be a half decent signing.

For the record the voting was:

Steve Gohouri – 44%
Victor Moses – 22%

The new poll is available on the right side of this page and its asking who do you want to win the league, Chelsea or Manchester United?
