It looks as if it’s a matter of time before Heart of Midlothian star Jamie Walker signs for Wigan Athletic in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old was left out of Hearts’ match day squad for yesterday’s 0-0 home draw against Aberdeen.
According to the Scottish press, the Jambos manager Craig Levein claimed that Walker was injured and that’s why he missed the Scottish Premier League game.
However, it’s believed that Walker was left out of the team because the Tynecastle side are bracing themselves for a £300,000 bid from Wigan.
Apparently Latics will fight off competition from Rangers to get their man.
