Shaun Maloney made a welcome return to footballing action this afternoon when, alongside Gary Caldwell, he played the first 45 minutes of the Development Squad game against Morecambe at Christopher Park.

The Latics won the game 1-0 with an Andres Guillermo second half goal, but the main talking point was Super Shaun Maloney coming through his first forty-five minutes since September.

With the devastating news about both Ben Watson and Chris McCann’s season ending injuries, Maloney’s potential return is coming at just the right time.

Well it’s that time of year again, we’re off to Wembley and once again the Vital Family Coaches will be zipping down the M6 & M40 taking fans on another fantastic day out, as previously we will be supporting Joseph’s Goal and running a quiz and raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

What most people want to know is the cost of the transport, well we`re trying to do things a little differently this year and help the families by offering two prices, £30 for 12’s and over, under 12’s £22 which could help to ease the burden on those travelling with youngsters.
