The lino at the centre of the controversy surrounding the two off-side goals scored by Chelsea against the Latics has been axed from his next scheduled fixture

Assistant referee Dave Bryan has been suspended by the Premier League and now will not take his place on the touchline at Ewood Park on Tuesday, fat lot of good that will do the Latics though

The FA are considering charging Latics boss Roberto Martinez for his post match comments aimed at Bryan, he described the assistant referees performance as ‘disgusting’ and ‘horrific’, rather than drag Martinez over the coals would it not be more appropriate for the FA to issue him an apology for such a shocking performance by one of their employees

Martinez looks perplexed
