Sam Morsy has been voted the Vital Latics man of the match for his performance in Friday night’s home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

Egypt international Morsy has been superb since his return from his loan spell at Barnsley, aggressive, committed and willing to put his body on the line, Friday’s performance was another quality one from our number 8.

For the record the voting was:

Sam Morsy – 69%
Will Grigg – 5%
Jakob Haugaard – 5%.
