Wigan Athletic take on a Blackburn Rovers side that is looking for a third spin on the bounce. Having seen off a Bournemouth and high flying Watford recently, they will no doubt fancy their chances at the DW Stadium.
That said,a Wigan enter the game having come off the back of a famous 3-1 win against NK Maribor. They also remain undefeated at the DW Stadium. Blackburn also boast a poor record of late at the DW. They have not won there for some years, going back before the Steve Bruce era begun.
It is anticipated Grant Holt may return for today’s game which would be a massive boost to the front line though striker a Fortune remains sidelined with a niggling hamstring injury.
I am going for a home win over Blackburn today but I fully expect Blackburn to make a real game of it and I think this game could be very tight today.
