Following yesterdays draw between Wigan Athletic and Stoke City Latics goal scorer Paul Scharner spoke to Sky Sports about his goal and how he sees the Latics progressing, will we avoid relegation, lets see what he had to say:

‘The last couple of games we have started very well but the performance dropped, we need to keep it up for the full 90 minutes”

“The pitch was difficult to play, especially in the second half, it was hard to run with the ball to control it and keep possession, maybe it would have been better to play the long ball

“We are making progress and the last couple of games has shown that everybody in the team knows that we need to fight”

“This is giving the players confidence to stay in the division but we need to start getting three points because one may be not enough”
