Wigan Athletic have finally got shut of Olivier Kapo, well until the end of the season at least as the France international, yeah I know hard to believe isn`t it, joined French 1st division club Boulogne on a 6 month loan deal.

Speaking on joining the French strugglers Kapo says he is delighted to be back in the mix, he told the Boulogne official website: ‘I want to fight like I did at Wigan. I look forward to getting back playing and getting the smell of victory with Boulogne ‘.

‘I am fortunate that a first division club gave me a chance and that`s why I had no hesitation in signing. I don`t know too much about the club, but speaking to the players they all have only good things to say. I did not hesitate long before signing. ‘

‘I really hope that we will stay in the division. We’re only three points from Saint-Etienne. I am very happy to be here.’
