Wigan Athletic player Olivier Kapo looks likely to get his move to a French club that he has been striving for since he joined from Birmingham City, albeit only a loan move.

Boulogne, who are struggling at the wrong end of the French first division see the former Juventus star as the man to pull them out of trouble but they are only willing to risk a loan deal at the moment.

The Latics will be keen to get Kapo off the pay roll as he is one of the clubs top earners and hardly ever featured in the starting eleven making just 20 appearances in 18 months at the club.
