The FA have decided to take no further action against Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho after he called Scotland international Lee McCulloch a cheat, but he has been warned about his future conduct.
Mourinho was defending his decision to tell William Gallas not to give the ball back to Wigan from a throw-in after they had kicked the ball out of play when Latics midfielder McCulloch was injured.
‘We know what fair play is and when a player is injured, we give the ball back,’ said Mourinho after the game. ‘When a player is cheating, we are not stupid.’
