Latics boss Roberto Martinez thanked the fans for their tremendous support at Fulham yesterday, he said that it was a shame that the team couldn’t reward them with a result but urged the fans to keep backing the team as we enter the final three games of the season

Speaking about the fans Martinez said – ‘The travelling support was amazing once again and going into the final stages of the game we could really feel their energy.

‘It’s a shame we couldn’t reward that support which has been so strong, but we know we can rely on them at our DW Stadium next weekend against Newcastle United.

‘We’re still pushing to enjoy a strong finish to the season and will continue to fight in that typical Wigan Athletic fashion in the next three games.’
