Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark ‘Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City at Eastlands Stadium on Monday will end in a home win for City, lets see what his reasons are:

Man City v Wigan (Monday 2000 GMT)

I would expect City to win this, but the balance of the team just has not been right in recent weeks and I’m not sure what manager Roberto Mancini is doing.

He seems to make changes for the sake of it. I wish he would pick his best team for a few games – they haven’t got any other commitments after all.

I know I’ll bore people by saying it again, but you just never know which Wigan is going to turn up.

Prediction: 2-0

I suspect must people like Lawro would go for the home win here but I have a feeling we will snatch a draw, City have never had it easy against us and that wont chage on Monday 1-1.
