BBC pundit and former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland International, even though he was born in Preston, Mark ‘Lawro` Lawrenson has plumped for a home win in his prediction for the Fulham Wigan Athletic game on Wednesday, Lawro says on the BBC website:

‘Before the game against Portsmouth at the weekend, Fulham’s play had been better than their results suggested.

“They are decent at home and should have beaten West Ham easily.

“I think Wigan are going through a little sticky patch.

“Defensively, at the weekend against Villa, the way they conceded the goals was not good and I think it will be a bad night for them at Fulham’.

“Lawro`s Verdict: 2-0”

I am quite pleased he has gone for Fulham because he is quite clueless when it comes to predicting, I am going for 1-2 Latics win
