The end to a very disappointing season sees the Latics face Leeds United at the DW Stadium in our final Championship game.

With relegation confirmed for the Latics and Leeds missing out on the play-offs there is little, except professional pride to play for.

Role on next season, hopefully we can put some home form together and score a few goals, in the mean time enjoy the summer.

Up the tics.

What The Bosses Say:

Latics boss Graham Barrow – ”When the away end is full of supporters it always adds to the atmosphere.

”I’ve got a lot of time for Garry Monk and Leeds football club, and it’s probably not a bad game to play in the sense there’ll be a good atmosphere and it’ll be a reminder to the players that it’s what we’ll want to get back to.”

Leeds boss Gary Monk – ”I’m very focused on my job”

”I’m very focused on winning this game. It’s vitally important that we finish on a high.

”We want to put on a performance that everyone can be proud of and that’s how we’ve been this week.”

Relegation confirmed at the weekend, but in reality we all knew it had been coming for quite a while now.

20 attempts at goal away at Reading, yet we still managed a nil return, that is now 22 games where we have drawn a blank this season.

We run through the managerial candidates and despite a large number of names in the running three of the panel go for the same guy, the name might surprise you.

Leeds up on Sunday at 12 noon, then the curtain will fall on a very disappointing season.

Don’t forget the latest All Gone Latics Fanzine will be on sale before the Leeds game and also at the Latics Legends game on the 19 May
