The official Championship fixture list for the 2016/17 season has been released and the Latics start off their campaign on the 6th August with an away day at Bristol City, the first home game will be Saturday 13th August when Blackburn are the visitors to the DW Stadium.

The festive period sees us dealt a bad hand, Rotherham United away on Boxing Day, followed by Derby away on New Year’s Eve, both have a 3pm kick off, Huddersfield visit the DW Stadium for the first game of 2017 on the 2nd January, again a 3pm kick off.

The run in sees us finish the campaign off with Cardiff at home, Reading away and then the season closes with Leeds visiting the DW on the final day.

The two derbys this season are the Blackburn and Preston games, the Rovers are at the DW in early August, the return at Ewood is on the 4th March, we visit PNE at the end of September, they will be at the DW on the 18th February.
