Wigan Athletic old boys Tomasz Cywka and Jason Roberts are set to renew acquaintances again at Championship club Reading

Poland under 21 international Cywka left the Latics in 2010, despite never making a first team appearance he was highly thought of, 2 years, 39 appearances and 5 goals was the return that Derby County got on the 23 year old, but they have now deemed him to be surplus to requirements at Pride Park and Cywka joined Reading this morning on a free transfer.

Jason Roberts also looks set to move to the Madjeski Stadium at some point this week, the former Latics striker appears to have been frozen out at Blackburn where there is apparently a clause in the Grenada internationals contract that allows him to claim a year extension if he plays one more game for Steve Keens strugglers.
