It really will be a Good Friday this Easter following news that the Latics will offer FREE coach travel to fans who want to make the trip to Swindon for our crucial League One encounter.

The fixture, which was originally scheduled for a 3pm kick off, has been moved to 5:30pm so that it can be televised live by Sky Sports, leaving Latics fans who wanted to travel by train a massive problem as the last ‘Puffing Billy’ of the day leaves Swindon Central before the game ends!

Ticket prices are also a bit of a kick in the shins, Swindon Town deciding to charge visiting adults £25 for a game that will be shown live on TV, this could leave the magnificent travelling band of Latics fans with a hefty bill for this particular game, that is until chairman David Sharpe made the announcement that the club will provide free coach travel to those wishing to go.

Sharpey told the Latics Official Website‘The fans have been unbelievable this season in the way they have travelled and backed the team in numbers and we feel this is something we can do for them in return.

‘This is an absolutely crucial part of the season and we want to help Gary and the players keep up the momentum in every way we can.’

Match tickets will be on sale to season ticket holders from Thursday 24th February and on general sale from Thursday 3rd March.
