Wigan Athletic are increasingly being linked with a loan move for Arsenal and Japan youngster Ryo Miyaichi.

The 19 year old has already had two spells on loan from Arsenal, one at Dutch side Feyenoord, the other with Latics near neighbours, Bolton Wanderers. The rumours started early last week about the possibility of Miyaichi coming to join Martinez’s side and have been steadily growing stronger, the Mirror are now reporting that talks have begun so that Miyaichi’s work permit can be sorted out in time for the new season.

With Victor Moses subject to a number of bids from Premier League rivals Chelsea, Miyaichi would be ideal to bring strength in depth for the attacking wide right role and not leave the club too short should Moses’ move to Chelsea finally materialise
