A massive congratulations to the Wigan Athletic Development Squad who defeated Fleetwood Town 3-1 this afternoon to lift the Central League Cup.
Fleetwood took an early lead inside the first minute from the penalty spot, but a Callum Lang second half hat-trick ensured that it would be Latics skipper Luke Burke who raised the trophy at the end of the game.
Latics – Roberts, Burke, Langford, Gregory, Stubbs, Anson, Burgess, Baxendale, Barrigan, Cosgrove, Lang
Subs – Evans, Boyd, Lingard, Randell, Hilton

A bit of WWE down at the DW on Saturday when Rotherham were in town, Nick ‘The Horse’ Powell came out on top over Lewis ‘Costly’ Price, the Horse’s 97th minute flashing into the back of the net to give the Latics 3 points and consign Rotherham to yet another away defeat.
Two games to look forward to, well you know what I mean, Barnsley are at the DW on Thursday, then it’s off to Brighton on Easter Monday.
Last on the agenda, but certainly not least is the Development Squad’s fine victory over Fleetwood in the Central League cup final, Si gives us his report on proceedings.
