The Latics started the game with Hugo Rodallega and Mauro Boselli leading the attack and James McArthur getting his first start in the Latics midfield, also in the starting line up was a trialist playing at the back and Sekou Baradji in the midfield

Latics: Al-Habsi; A. Trialist, Boyce, Gohouri, Baradji; Diame, McArthur; Gomez, Watson, Rodallega; Boselli
