Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Richard Kingson is set to lead out Ghana in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations this afternoon as the Black Stars take on Egypt to see who will be crowned the best team in Africa.

With Chelsea star Michael Essien injured Latics star Kingson has been appointed captain and he has performed heroics conceding just three goals on route to the final.

The game is being shown live on BBC 2 with coverage starting at 3:30 pm this afternoon, kick-off 4 pm

Wigan Athletic are said to be very proud that one of their players has reached a major tournament final for the first time
