Keeper Close To Return

Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Mike Pollitt is nearing full fitness again after damaging his hamstring in the early stages of the Carling Cup Final against Manchester United.

He?s been doing some light training with Filan and Walsh but the game at home to West Ham may be too soon for him. He should be fit for the Blackburn Rovers game in 2 weeks time but may find it difficult to dislodge John Filan from the starting spot as the Australian has kept successive clean sheets against Sunderland and Manchester City.
