Wigan Athletic are being linked with a move for Monaco and Sierra Leone captain Mohamed Kallon.

The former Inter Milan player spent eight seasons in Italy playing for Genoa, Cagliari, Reggina, Vicenza before moving to Monaco

Kallon has 6 months remaining on his contract and he is available for £1.5 million.

The 26 year old forward was banned from the game for 6 months whilst at Inter Milan he tested positive for the banned performance-enhancing steroid nandrolone after a match against Udinese.

It is well know that Chris Hutchings is in search of a quality striker to had some fire power to the Latics forward line
