Cockney Latic editor and Wigan Athletic Supporters Club manager Jason Taylor, aka JayT, is putting on his running shoes in aid of charity tomorrow has he ventures out to Haigh Hall, Wigan to participate in the `run4alife`

Jason is doing the 5k run in the hope of raising some much needed cash for Cancer Research

Jason says: “Cancer has touched many people`s lives and if you haven`t had a relative or friend who hasn`t had or doesn`t knows someone who has had cancer you are very lucky.

I have done several things for charity in the past, little things like having sponges thrown at me, hosting race night nights and football tournaments and jumping out of aeroplanes or helicopters, but generally nothing that was exceptionally physically exerting. As anybody who knows me can vouch, I am no runner these days and that makes this event a little more daunting than if it were 15 years ago when I was still playing football and such.”

Good luck Jason and if anyone would like to sponsor him in his quest to raise money for such a worthwhile charity then please visit www.justgiving.com/run4alifejason
