Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that interest in Latics striker Jason Scotland has intensified with a bid from Ipswich Town being accepted two more Championship clubs have registered their interest in the Trinidad and Tobago international.

With the fee that Latics have agreed with Ipswich thought to be around the £750,000 mark it wouldn`t be a bank breaker for the other clubs to at least match that amount and the big striker could be left with a choice of destinations.

Although the other two clubs haven`t been named, earlier this month both Burnley and Bristol City were known to be sniffing around Scotland, speaking about the situation Latics boss Martinez said:

‘There has been a bid accepted from Ipswich but another two Championship clubs have asked about Jason’

‘Jason will make a decision in the next 24 hours and we will take it from there.’
