Midfielder Jack Byrne has left Wigan Athletic to sign for fellow League One Latics Oldham Athletic on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
After spending the first half of this season on loan at Boundary Park, the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee to make Byrne’s deal permanent.
The ex-Manchester City star only made two substitute appearances for Wigan following a move from the Etihad Stadium in January 2017.
