I’m Sorry, No I’m Sorry

Ary DeZeeuw has disclosed that Paul Jewell apologised to the players for being too negative in the game at Liverpool last weekend.

DeZeeuw also apologised telling the Manchester Evening News ‘it was down to us (the players) because we were the ones on the pitch and, although we did okay, we didn’t do enough.`

‘It looked like we were trying to keep a clean sheet, but after they scored it didn’t look like we were going to get something out of the game.`

‘So he said sorry, but we’re sorry as well.’

With all these sorry`s coming out of the JJB I`m almost feeling sorry myself.

The fact of the matter is that the Latics didn`t perform at Anfield, something that must be put right before Saturday.

We can`t afford any more apologises; we need performances and big ones.

The support will be there (there is less than 200 tickets remaining), so now we need the players to turn up.

This is a game that the threat of relegation can be laid to rest, let`s hope that the team is a lot more positive than last Saturdays ‘sorry` performance.

What do you think the result will be?
