It’s all happening on Transfer Deadline Day, out goings are the order of the day so far down at the DW Stadium with surprise news that Jordy Hiwula has had his season long loan deal cut short and returned to Huddersfield Town.

Hiwula’s loan was tied in with that of Latics midfield man Emyr Huws moving the other way, but it appears that the Wales international will be joining
Championship club QPR on a permanent deal so the loans must have been cancelled.

The former Manchester City youth man spent much of his time with the Latics sat on the treatment table and the club will surely be looking to recoup the £2.5 million they paid for him in the summer of 2014.
