Latics have announced via their official website that striker Grant Holt has moved to Championship club Wolves on a loan deal until January 2nd 2016.

Holt has just returned to the squad following 10 months out with a serious knee injury and has shown good form and experience play in his cameo appearances, the move will possibly disappoint the Latics fans who were hoping to see the 34 year old terrorise League 1 defences, but with Craig Davies returning to fitness and taking into account Holt’s high wages the move was always on the cards.
