Wigan Athletic skipper Gary Caldwell said that the Latics got what they deserved from the draw with Chelsea, speaking after the match the Scotland international said that the team showed ‘great desire’

Caldwell said: ‘We believe in the group of players that we’ve got and tonight we showed great desire’

‘Everyone’s pulling in the same direction. When you go on a run of defeats you need to stick together and we’ve done that.

‘Chelsea are a great side and play some great stuff but we stuck at it and deserved a point in end.’
