Don’t forget…after match pint at the Honeysuckle in Poolstock

It’s an early kick off for the Latics against Arsenal this weekend, if you are finding yourself at a loose end for a couple of hours after the game you could do worse than support a fantastic charity whilst being entertained by a bouncing band, in the warmth and comfort of one of Wigan’s finest public houses

Wigan Athletic supporters band, The Empty Seats, are set to rock around the Christmas Tree in aid of the Joseph’s Goal charity this Saturday

Lead singer Bernard Long and the rest of the band have been busy rehearsing ahead of the gig that will take place at the Honeysuckle pub in Poolstock on Saturday following the Latics home game with Arsenal, the doors will open at 4pm.

Bernard say’s – ‘We wanted to do something to help such a wonderful cause and the idea of doing the gig with all proceeds going to the charity is a joint decision with all the band members’

‘Please come along to the Honeysuckle on the Saturday afternoon following the Arsenal game, enjoy a couple of pints, and help us to promote a great cause’
